1970 Honda CB450

For sale is a 1970 Honda CB450- this bike was sold locally at Emery Honda in 1970 (now known as GP Sports!) and was then stored for an extended period of time. I purchased the bike from the original owner’s estate and freshened it up.

The DOHC 450 was Honda’s flagship twin in the 60’s and 70’s and is an engineering marvel- these bikes are highly sought after by collectors for their combination of looks, reliability and power. This CB450 is no exception, it’s an absolute blast to ride with many new parts to ensure it stays that way!

Everything functions as it should- lights, turn signals, brakes, electric & kick start- even the neutral light indicator.

The tank, side covers, and fork ears still wear their original candy gold paint.

There are minor scuffs and dings on some of the bright work and paint, but overall it shows very well. These bikes have appreciated significantly and are getting increasingly difficult to find in good condition, especially *original* bikes that haven’t been turned into a cafe racer! This bike is truly a wonderful running and riding survivor with plenty of pep- the DOHC 450 sounds incredible through the original exhaust.

Many hours have been spent on this bike and it shows in how well it runs/rides:
