For sale is a 1973 Honda CL450 Scrambler. This bike was restored from the frame up and is a fantastic running machine- it’s ready to ride! The CL450 is the largest and most desirable of the CL series from Honda- these bikes are highly sought after by collectors for their combination of looks, reliability and power. This CL450 is no exception, with countless hours spent perfecting it. Everything functions as it should and the paintwork is flawless.
The tank and side covers were repainted in the correct Planet blue metallic- the stripes are clear coated over to protect them.
The frame and all brackets were taken down to bare metal, epoxy primed, and resprayed in a high gloss automotive single stage paint. (No rattle can!)
There are minor scuffs and scratches on some of the bright work, but overall it shows incredibly well. These bikes have appreciated significantly (take one glance at recently sold bikes on Bring a Trailer!) and are getting increasingly difficult to find and restore to this level, especially with the correct Scrambler exhaust!
