I’ve successfully completed the trifecta of car shows this weekend by going to at least one show each day Friday through Sunday. Santa Barbara was a little bit of a trek, but the quality of cars and people I met made it worth the drive- meeting up with a couple buddies for a nice cruise to the beach afterwards made it that much better. The heavy traffic heading back home was a great test for my mechanical fan, as I’ve had some serious issues with burning up a particular brand’s electric ones (2 of them in a 3 week span).
In a previous article, I had mentioned winning a Flex Fan at the Conejo Valley Cars and Coffee event. I’m very happy to announce that it has now found a new home, as I just happened to strike up a conversation with a very amicable gentleman who was looking for one. How that particular topic came up is somewhat of a mystery, but I’m not going to ask any questions. The $20 earned paid for *some* of my gas. Remember kids, be sure to keep a spare fan in your trunk, you never know when you need to sell it for some gas money.
