The American Graffiti Festival in Modesto, California is meant to celebrate years of hot rod tradition. It is a three day event starting with a parade of classic cars on Friday, a car show Saturday, and an award ceremony on Sunday. The event took place June 12-14, 2015 and is the 17th annual show to happen.
The turnout was well over 1000 cars ranging from American Graffiti inspired hot rods to restored classic muscle cars. The only criteria to enter the show is that the car must be built prior to 1979. The classic car scene in Modesto is clearly thriving because we were out of breath trying to look at all the beautiful examples of vintage rides in attendance. The weather was a scorching 100 degrees so sunscreen, a hat, and lots of water were mandatory.
It was a pleasure meeting you all, if you found a flyer in your car your pictures will be here!
